This morning I got up to reflect on life.. For months, the Holy Spirit has had me praying with those he has place on my spirit, working with counseling others..
I have seen many turn from sexual sin, lifestyles that offend God, get supernatural deliverance on confessing sin, repenting and seeking God and being led supernaturally ,and prophetically to doing God’s will.
Satan has many bound down.. He has deceived many into making choices, following paths and aligning themselves to persons who appear to be walking with God ,but are truly in this time Satan imps being led by darkness and not light..
This morning I was led to an article that said that most professing Christians will end up in hell.
The article bold headline went on to say, Your life depends on it , You need to know if you are truly saved ?
Are you truly saved my friend ? Do you truly have a right, personal, intimate relationship with God and are you truly walking with God..
Guy Fireworks are you truly saved ? Are you walking and talking with God?
Are you truly hearing from God ? Do you spend time reading/meditating on his word ?
Do you have adequate prayer time , praying in the way God has ordained and not through vain, selfish desires or agendas..
Do you pray for your enemies, your Government leaders, who you may not support, like, etc..?
Do you give to God in the way he has ordained and not because of con men/women who fleece the sheep into sowing into their bosoms to support lifestyles that are not of God..
If God is your provider, why must you beg, get persons to take out bank loans/credit unions loans, use hire purchase to fund the church /minister?
Yes, I am getting personal here and If any one who reads this, want to take it back to anyone, my words with boldness and authority is, Who the Cap fit, let them wear it..
And I will advise repentance is key, seek God’s face, repent of sin, ask God’s forgiveness and restoration and allow him to lead you in paths of Righteousness sake..
Are you truly walking with God and associating ,standing in agreement with men and women who are truly walking with God..
Ask God, take time out to pray and ask him to reveal first of all who you are in him, secondly ask him if you are truly walking with him, and to show you clearly and to help you walk with him..
And last but not least ask God to show you clearly if your leaders are truly walking with him, and are pursuing his will and agenda..
They is no need to gossip or to seek man/woman’s opinion..
Take it to God in prayer and he will show you all, you need to know .
Let me close with this passage found in Micah 6 vs. 8.
“ He has sheweth, O Man, what is Good, and what doeth the Lord required of thee ,but to do justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with thy God?
God expects/wants us to walk humbly with him..
Are we walking with God ?
Daily Reflections :2016-09-04..
Satan is the accuser of the brethren.. It is satan who seeks to destroy families, marriages, the lives and purposes and destinies of many persons..
We live in an era where more persons have access higher education. An era of advance technology. An era of higher paid salaries, but in many countries higher unemployment and deeper social-economic problems.
Whereas many ,countless millions have pursued academia and sought to develop their spirituality they have failed to establish, develop and maintain a deep and personal relationship with God via his son Jesus Christ..
Many have been duped and have like the Pharisees being faithful church attendees and getting involved with all the pomp, pagentry , and functions of the church but still failing to fully know God ,to hear his voice and to live according to his word.
They was only one perfect man.God does not expect us to be perfect. He wants us to love him, to have a clean heart, a right spirit and to live by all his commandments..
Many fail to realise this that Satan is ever on the prowl. He looks for those who he can devour and he has a host of helpers, demons, evil spirits that loves to live in the bodies, dwell in, gain entrance to humane beings..
The church has failed to educate here, and because many of his imps and tares have risen to high offices in the church, they have done all to mamaguy, down play, misinform , and in some cases deny demonic activity in the life’s of humans for their own purpose..
Many times the problems in marriages ,rebellious teenagers ,strange sudden sicknesses, accidents and continual setbacks in the lives of many are because of demonic possession or oppression in the life of one or both partners or the children, persons facing problems..
Here it is necessary for the Pastor, deliverance minister to have an accurate discerning spirit ,or to spend time in prayer asking God to reveal the source of the problem and then for them to have the authentic authority that Jesus gave his disciples in Matthew 10,to have authority over all unclean spirits ,to cast them out of persons and to heal all sicknesses..
I have come under attack by Pastors and some church leaders here for my bold teachings and conversations with persons on this subject..
I reject all counterfeit gifts of the Holy spirit and to sit under any man/woman of God who have erred and either through sin, rebellion, disobedience or moving away from sound doctrine have opened themselves up to and operate under occultic/familiar spirits that allows them to appear to be flowing in the gifts of the Holy spirit..
Let’s face facts, many start to walk with God in the bible but turned to Baal worship..
Let’s face facts that life is a cycle, history repeats itself. Many in this age has tapped into occultic activity..
We live in end times.. Bible prophesy has to be fulfilled and end time warriors, no matter what persons say about them, have to educate ,have to warn, and to be God’s genuine mouthpieces at a time when many mouths spew out false doctrines and seduce and entice.
The Jezebels will hate such reflections like these and the weak Ahab’s to please them, will turn a blind eye for them to come up against the Elijah’s ,but in this season, the dastardly duo ,the epitome of evil with hardened and blackened hearts will make errors, will not identify fully and make a mistake of thinking that some persons are Elijahs, when in fact they are Jehus.
God will have the final say here..Woe be to those who fail to heed his warnings..
I find that christians are so selfish and not incline to help others..
I know of non christians who daily go out of their way to help others, charging asking for nothing in return, and with christians its the opposite..
I read recently of some young black tennagers, who were going to elderly persons in their community and cutting their lawns free of costs..
Recently they were given new lawn mowers and weed wackers to help them in their community efforts..
As a boy scout we use to do projects to help senior citizens..
In these times many as I said before no longer want to help anyone..
God wants us to help others..Lets look at the word of God..
Helping Others Shown in Moses’ Time
Exodus 17:12 But Moses’ hands grew weary, so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it, while Aaron and Hur held up his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side. So his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
Lets reflect on this bible passage..
Deuteronomy 15:11 For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore I command you, ‘You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.’
Jesus Spoke About Helping Others
Matthew 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
Matthew 5:42 Give to the one who begs from you, and do not refuse the one who would borrow from you.
Matthew 10:8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You received without paying; give without pay.
Matthew 25:35-40 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
Luke 3:10-11 And the crowds asked him, “What then shall we do?” And he answered them, “Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise.”
Luke 12:33-34 Sell your possessions, and give to the needy. Provide yourselves with moneybags that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
John 15:12 “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you…”
Let me close with this Bible verse for you to reflect on..
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2)
To-day let us reflect on the Word Ichabod..
Question: “What does the term ‘Ichabod’ mean in the Bible?”
Answer: The term Ichabod is found in two places in the Bible,1 Samuel 4:21 and 14:3. Ichabod was the son ofPhinehas and the grandson of Eli, the priest of the Lord in Shiloh. The sad story of Eli and his two wayward sons, Phinehas and Hophni, is found in 1 Samuel, chapters 2 and 4. Hophni and Phinehas died in battle with the Philistines who captured the Ark of the Covenant and took it away from Israel. Upon hearing this terrible news, Eli fell backward off his chair and broke his neck and died. Phinehas’s pregnant wife went into labor and bore a son.
“And she named the child Ichabod, saying, ‘The glory has departed from Israel!’ because the ark of God had been captured and because of her father-in-law and her husband. And she said, ‘The glory has departed from Israel, for the ark of God has been captured’” (1 Samuel 4:21–22). The word Ichabod means literally “inglorious” or “there is no glory,” and in her pain and despair, the woman (who is unnamed in Scripture) lamented over the loss of the glory of God from Israel.
The glory of God is used to describe God’s favor and blessings toward His people. In the Old Testament, God’s glory is seen as a pillar of fire and cloud that followed the Israelites during the exodus from Egypt, guiding and guarding them (Exodus 13:21). Once the Ark of the Covenant was built and placed in the tabernacle in the wilderness, and later in the temple in Jerusalem, God’s glory resided there as a symbol of His presence among His people. When the Ark was captured by the Philistines, the glory departed from the Israelites—Ichabod became a reality.
Jesus later refers to the concept of the glory of God leaving Israel. In His last message to the populace of Israel, His final word to the religious leaders was “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing. Look, your house is left to you desolate” (Matthew 23:37–38). That was His final statement of judgment on Israel for the rejection of their Messiah. He has indicted their leaders and, by indicting the leaders, indicted all the people who followed the leaders. And now He says their house is left desolate—Ichabod, the glory is departing.
Notice that He says your house is desolate. Not My house, not My Father’s house, as He used to call it. Now it’s your house because God has left—Ichabod! God is no longer there, it’s not the Father’s house; it’s not My house; it’s your house. The Greek word translated “desolate,” means “abandoned to ruin.” This place is in abandonment. God has left. It’s cursed, devoted to ruination. And they won’t see Jesus again till He comes in full Messianic glory (Matthew 23:39).
It is a terrible thing to experience the loss of the glory of God. And while Israel’s ruin was temporary “until the fullness of the Gentiles” would be brought into the kingdom of God on earth (Romans 11:25), one wonders how many churches today have lost the glory of the Lord, whether willingly or unknowingly. The same things that caused Ichabod in Israel—sin, disobedience, idolatry—are present in many of today’s churches. Christians must never take the glory of God in our midst for granted, lest we wake up one day and find that Ichabod has become a reality among us.
Daily Reflections :2016-08-11.
I first of all want to give God glory for allowing me to write Reflections.
I want to acknowledge the words of a Trinidadian sister who I met when I was in St Vincent some 10 years ago..
When we differ in spirits it causes confusion and misunderstanding. We got to have the spiritual connect.
The carnal man will not know about the spiritual connection and that leads him astray. We who are in
the body of Christ should carry the spirit and then we bind together. Bro. Guy, thank you so much again and may God continue to grant you the wisdom and the knowledge for you to share values to fellow men.
This morning as I shared with a Christian sister, I was led to focus on strength..
I have been watching the Olympics…As I watch I see the upset defeats of the two Williams sisters..
I have seen the return of Michael Phelps and his two victories so far..
They have been some upsets and some unknowns have risen to take gold in their events..
As we look at these athletes, one realise it takes strength, fortitude ,to endure long hours of constant training to not only qualify for these games but to win..
Are we as christians training daily and do we have what it takes to reach the top,the zenith in the mark of our high calling in Jesus..
Surely we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us..
Blessed day to all.
